2. Study permit application

According to the update made on May 25, the Immigration Bureau is beginning to process applications submitted between February 14, 2021 and February 20, 2021. 3. Work permit application

1. For work permit applications submitted outside Canada, the Immigration Bureau is currently making every effort to process cases that meet the GSS qualifications between March 7 and March 13, 2021. For other remaining work permit applications, the Immigration Bureau is currently unable to give a processing time.

2. For online applications or paper applications submitted in Canada, the Immigration Bureau is processing cases between February 28 and March 6, 2021.

Given the pandemic situation, asylum seeker visas, visas related to changing jobs or employers, employer-specific work visas, and tourist work visas are all in the priority queue.

4. Maple Leaf Card

For those who apply for a PR card, also known as a Maple Leaf Card, for the first time, the processing time after application is approximately 120 days.

The waiting time for PR card renewal or reissue is approximately 77 days.

5. Family reunion

1. Application in Canada

Spousal immigration is currently processing applications between October 6, 2019, and October 12, 2019.

The application time for parent/grandparent immigration is 20 to 24 months

2. Application from outside Canada

Spouse Immigration: Applications between August 4 and August 10, 2019 are being processed.

6. Apply to become a Canadian citizen

Applicants have received AOR, which is a confirmation letter issued by the Immigration Bureau, and are currently processing related cases that existed before May 5 to May 11, 2019;.

Applicants have not yet received their AORs, and confirmation letters are currently being sent to those who submitted applications between March 2 and March 8, 2021, which is the week of March 12.

7. Canadian tourist visa application

Currently, the waiting time for travel visa applications has stopped updating. Friends who apply for travel visas online must log in to their accounts and conduct inquiries in their accounts.
