What is Federal Express Track?

Canada Express Channel, or EE, is a platform used by the Federal Ministry of Immigration to screen applicants for skilled immigration, skilled immigration, experience immigration and some provincial nomination programs.

EE uses the CRS comprehensive scoring mechanism to score based on the candidate's age, career experience, academic level, foreign language mastery level, etc. After obtaining the score, the applicant joins the candidate database to wait for invitations.

The EE system will send applicants an invitation to meet the standard score regularly. Applicants who meet the score criteria will receive an ITA, that is, an invitation letter, so they are eligible to submit a formal application for permanent residence.

01. Fast track selection situation on October 14

Recently, many applicants with scores around 450 have learned about the situation and asked us whether the federal EE will conduct low-segment invitation operations for applicants in Canada, especially the CEC category.

During the implementation of control measures in Canada, in order to maintain the annual acceptance indicators, the immigration department specially launched ten special selection activities for applicants to be approved for their identity in the country, and the applicant's required points were once reduced to around 430.

The total number of invitations sent by the Express Channel this year, plus the last four regular invitations, the editor feels that the chance of drawing CEC from the mid-lane is already slim. The latest round of invitations has officially exceeded 80,000 in the fast track annual invitation. As of October 14, 82,850 applicants have received invitation letters.

One thing worth noting is that by 2021, there are only two and a half months left, and the total number of invitations sent by the Express Channel has exceeded the records in any previous year. Therefore, the editor feels that the reduction in the score of the Express Channel this year may be very small.
