Step 5: You can check all processing progress information on the official website of the Immigration Bureau, generally including when your renewal card will be received by the Immigration Bureau, when the approval process will be initiated, when you will receive a notification letter or email for supplementary materials, when you will complete the approval, and when the new maple leaf card will be sent to your home address.
It should be noted that not all applicants who apply for card renewal can receive new maple leaf cards directly at home. Even if the card renewal application is approved, many applicants still need to go to the Immigration Bureau office to collect the card in person.
