Too unexpected! Federal Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship (IRCC) requires applicants to wait 57 months as he pushes for documents for immigration applicants. The defendant went to court. As a result, he was sentenced to a ruling case, but the IRCC also had to pay a sum.

The first time is 57 months
According to Star, who is from Syria and now living in Toronto, who came to Canada from Saudi Arabia, sought refugee asylum with his wife and his 7-year-old son in January 2016 and gave birth to his 6-year-old son in Canada.
Their refugee application was accepted by the IRCC in September 2016, making it easier to apply for permanent residence in October of the same year.
Even though the family was told they met all eligibility requirements and even completed a physical examination, immigration officials repeatedly told them that the application was being processed, but never explained to them what the problem was and why it was not approved.

During the wait, they sought help from members of Congress and filed 34 queries with the immigration department between May 2017 and April 2021, but officials simply answered that they were still under review.
The judge admitted that it was unreasonable
There is no way, and Tuskiya has to take another measure.
Last February (2020), after waiting for three and a half years, they decided to file a lawsuit in federal court, asking the Immigration Bureau to speed up the processing of its application.
Until then, they learned that Tuskia had not passed the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) National Security Review Team. The IRCC has been relying on review results to approve applications. Tuskiya's wife and eldest son passed the comment long ago.
Judge S. Ahmed pointed out that the delay was unreasonable and that the 57-month application decision had been waiting for a decision, which was longer than the average 21 months for a recognized refugee. Even the 199 pandemic cannot fully explain the delay of the IRCC.

The IRCC argued in the lawsuit that the family’s request was meaningless because they notified in July that the application was close to approval and that only they would need to submit further information.
However, the judge expressed disagreement, believing that the lawsuit would not be meaningless until the application was found. If the applicant filed a lawsuit, it is not possible to know the reason for the delay in the application.
“It doesn’t matter whether it’s delays in the Office of the Minister or in the Canadian Security Intelligence Agency (CSIS). It’s the responsibility of the Minister to take action.”
The IRCC also believes that it may be necessary to meet the requirements of the family to speed up the processing of the application; the judge retorted that it would be insufficient to use it as an explanation alone.
The court finally ruled that the government required the applicant to wait for 57 months "unreasonable" and ordered the immigration department to submit the application results within 30 days and compensate the original prosecutor $1,500 in cash.
The subsequent effect is very great
After the judgment was determined, a large number of immigration applicants who had similar experience as Tuskiya asked if they could follow his method.
The lawyer representing the Tuskiya lawsuit said in this case that his phone has been ringing since the ruling, saying: “People have received years of responses to process the application,” and that apart from what that is, even members of Congress have not received an answer for the use of the disclosure law. ”

"Many applicants who delay now want to know if they are hiding something? Will the IRCC abuse the pandemic as an excuse? People are too hot," he said.
I don't know how many immigration applications IRCC still accumulates. It seems that if I don't work overtime, I'm afraid I'll have to go to court a few more times in the future, which will harm people and damage my time.
