The photos used in the Canadian maple card are different from the passport photo. The requirements for the maple leaf card photo are as follows:

1. As long as you see the eyes clearly, you can wear colorless or tinted glasses (prescription glasses). Make sure that your eyes are not opened due to the reflection of the lens. Sunglasses are not allowed;

2. If you usually use wigs or other cosmetics in your daily life, you can wear them as long as they don’t hide normal facial features;

3. Photos must clearly show your face. If you are reluctant to take off your hat or other head items for religious reasons, make sure the entire facial features are clearly visible;

4. These photos must be taken within the last 12 months to ensure they are consistent with your current appearance;

5. You can take black and white photos or color photos.

To take notes to the photographer, two photos must be taken:

1. The frontal photo of the head clearly shows the entire face, the face is in the middle of the photo;

2. Transparent, clear edges, pure white background, no shadows;

3. It is the same file that is not subject to modification or digital photos, or it is a dual image camera or multi-lens camera that takes two identical negative factors simultaneously and prints them;
