1: Introduction

Canada's "maple leaf card" is commonly known as the Canadian permanent resident card. As a Canadian student, Maple Leaf Card must be an important term throughout your study abroad journey.

Two: Application conditions

First, I actually live in Canada.

Second, if you are a Canadian company (registered in Canada with records of continuous operations) or a Canadian government agency works overseas, the time you live abroad at this time is considered to be living in Canada;

Third, live overseas with a spouse of Canadian nationality. Currently, living abroad is also considered to live in Canada. However, children with Canadian nationality who are accompanied overseas cannot be considered to live in Canada, while children under the age of 22 are considered Canadian nationality abroad and can be considered to live in Canada.

Three: Information required for application:

1. A copy of the maple leaf card (if it has expired, the original must be submitted);

2.2 Photos (photos within half a year);

3. A copy of a valid passport (please copy all pages);

4. Login paper or driver’s license or last year’s tax return (preferably login paper);

5. Address, work and research records over the past 5 years;

6. Records of leaving Canada in the past 5 years (time, reason).

For overseas permanent residents, the following proof materials are required to expand the maple leaf card:

If the spouse or family member is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident who lives abroad, proof of spouse/Kinder relationship and proof of citizenship of Canadian citizenship are required;

If the applicant or spouse is hired by a Canadian company and sent to work overseas, he or she will be required to provide a full-time job certificate overseas;
